What To Serve With Caramelized Onion Steak Bites
Helpful Tips
Steak Selection. Choose a tender cut of steak for the best results. Sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin are excellent choices. I don't recommend using stew meat or beef cubes as this is typically a tougher cut of beef and is better suited for slow cooking or roasting.
Skillet Temperature. Ensure the skillet is hot before adding the steak to achieve a perfect sear. I highly recommend using a cast iron skillet.
Garlic Monitoring. Keep a close eye on the garlic as it cooks to avoid burning, which can give a bitter taste.

Ingredients
1 ½ pounds steak (such as sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin), cut into 1-inch cubes
3 Tablespoons Caramelized Onion Powder
1 Tablespoon olive oil
4 cloves garlic
1 Tablespoon unsalted butter
Directions
Begin by cutting the steak into 1-inch cubes. They should be as uniform in size as possible to ensure even cooking.
Generously season the steak cubes with 3 Tablespoons Caramelized Onion Powder. Gently pat the seasoning into the steak bites. Allow the meat to rest at room temperature for approximately 10 minutes to absorb the seasoning.
Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and allow it to become very hot. Add the 1 Tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet.
Once the skillet is hot, add the steak bites in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding the skillet; cook in batches if necessary. Allow the meat to sear for approximately 3 minutes on each side until they develop a nice brown crust, and the center reaches your desired level of doneness.
Add the 1 Tablespoon of unsalted butter and 4 cloves of minced garlic. Stir continually to mix the steak bites with the garlic for approximately 1 minute.
